Do the recordings have to be sight specific?...

This question came to mind when I visited Cockerham sands with people from the Beyond the Studio module. Again when I was there I felt an amazing sense of peacefulness while listening back to audio recordings. Apart from the chatter amongst students, the space was clear, There was sounds of birds, and the rippling of water hitting the shoreline. The sky was hazy looking out over the coast there a was a huge sensation of emptiness as the sky and the water merged together. It was blissful. The vocal recordings that I had done was not just meant for Lake Carter, but it was made for Cockerham sands also. The recording fit both these places.
